After oral dosing of 2 x 333 mg of Campral, the terminal half-life ranges from approximately 20-33 hours. Following oral administration, the major route of excretion is via the kidneys. Peak plasma concentrations after administration of a single dose of Campral to patients with renal impairment were higher compared to healthy subjects, with a prolonged elimination half-life in patients with severe renal impairment.
